Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Canvasos LLC ("Canvasos," "we," "us") handles personal information on our websites, including fleetcanvas.net and washcanvas.com (the "Sites"), and in the account layer of our products.
1. The most important distinction
Our products analyze business data that our customers connect from their own systems, including records about their workers. For that data, our customer is the controller and we process it on the customer's behalf under a written Data Processing Agreement, not under this Policy. If you are an employee of one of our customers and have questions about data your employer connects to our products, please direct them to your employer, whose privacy practices govern. This Policy covers the information described below, which we collect for our own purposes.
2. What we collect
- Contact and inquiry information. If you email us or request a demo: your name, email address, company, and what you send us.
- Account information. If a customer invites you to a product: your name, email address, and role, processed through our login provider. An invitation email address is retained by that provider even if you never accept, until it expires or is deleted.
- Site usage information. Standard server log data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, recorded by our hosting provider. We do not run analytics software or advertising trackers on the Sites.
- Web fonts. The Sites load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to retrieve them and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not send Google any other information about you.
3. How we use it
To respond to you, to provide and secure the Sites and product accounts, to send service communications, to understand Site usage in aggregate, and to comply with law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers that host and operate our systems (hosting, database, login, email delivery, and model inference), listed on our published sub-processor page; professional advisors; and authorities where the law requires. Each service provider is bound to use the information only to provide its service to us.
5. Retention
Contact and inquiry information is kept while we correspond with you and for a reasonable period after. Account information is kept while the account exists. Operating data in the products is retained under the retention terms of our customer agreements (currently a rolling two-year window, with deletion after a customer relationship ends).
6. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, separate each customer's data, and restrict access by role, enforced on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you; to exercise them, contact us at nick.oney@fleetcanvas.net and we will verify and respond as applicable law requires. If we hold your information as a processor for a customer, we will refer your request to that customer.
8. Children
The Sites and products are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen (13).
9. United States operation
We operate from the United States and process information there. The Sites are not directed to the European Union or United Kingdom; if we begin marketing there, we will update this Policy first.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice on the Sites.
